Catfish Clicker

On the 20th of June 2025, there was a tragic incident.

A chonky catfish (more than 90 kilos heavy and 2 meters long) was minding his own business in the Brombachsee, Germany. Disturbed by the presence of swimmers, it defended itself, causing people to flee. Five of them were bitten and for this, the fish was first shot at three times by the police, then caught, killed, cut up and served for 22.50€ a piece.

This monstrous act of humankind can not go unpunished, so it is your task to reclaim the seas of Earth and become the Catfish Master.

This game was created in about 20 hours total, so expect some bugs (hopefully not game-breaking ones!)

For mobile users: long hold the buttons on the left hand side to gain additional information for when they unlock (works when they are greyed out)

Gameplay:

Feed the Catfish

Sell the Catfish to a benevolent group of environmental activists

Buy Upgrades (better food, Helpers, etc.)

Grow a Catfish of 10cm size and release it (acts as Prestige)

Buy golden Upgrades 

After freeing enough Catfish, ascend and start anew with more feedpower, higher fish value and a more difficult challenge
